In compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD) and Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSICE), Lambda Automotive S.L., tax ID B92995901 (hereinafter LAMBDA), located at Avda. Doña Ana, Nave 7, 29130 Alhaurín de la Torre (Málaga, Spain), contact e-mail info@lambdamotive.com, is the Data Controller for the personal data obtained through the cookies of this website.
Through this policy, LAMBDA informs you that it uses cookies on its website https://www.lambdamotive.com/ to allow the website to work properly and to offer you personalised, convenient and efficient browsing.
In line with the company's data protection policy, LAMBDA, as data controller, informs you that cookies are associated with the anonymous user and their computer, and do not by themselves provide the user's name and surname. In this document we explain how we use cookies and similar technologies while you use our services:
One.- What are cookies?
A cookie is a file that is downloaded to your computer when you access certain web pages. Cookies allow a website, among other things, to store and retrieve information about the browsing habits of a user or their device and, depending on the information they contain and how the device is used, they can be used to recognise the user.
Two.- What types of cookies does this website use?
By origin
a) First-party cookies: those sent to your device from our own equipment or domains, from which we provide the requested service.
b) Third-party cookies: those sent to your device from equipment or a domain that is not managed by us but by another collaborating entity, such as those used by social networks or by external content.
By duration
a) Session cookies: temporary cookies that remain in your browser's cookie file until you leave the website, so none of them is recorded on your computer's hard drive. The information obtained through these cookies is used to analyse traffic patterns on the website. In the long run, this allows us to provide a better experience, improve the content and make it easier to use.
b) Persistent cookies: stored on the hard drive and read by our website each time you make a new visit. A persistent cookie has a specific expiry date; the cookie stops working after that date. We generally use these cookies to facilitate purchase and registration services.
By purpose
a) Technical or strictly necessary cookies. Essential for the website to work properly. They allow the user to browse the website and use its basic functions (shopping cart, access to the private area, etc.). They do not require the user's consent, although the user must be informed about them.
b) Personalisation cookies. Those which, in our case, remember the preferences selected by the user during previous browsing of our website (for example, the language).
c) Analytics cookies. Those which, whether processed by us or by third parties, allow us to quantify the number of users and thus measure and statistically analyse how users use the service offered. To do so, browsing on our website is analysed in order to improve the products or services we offer.
d) Advertising cookies. Those which, whether processed by us or by third parties, allow us to manage as effectively as possible the advertising spaces on the website, adapting the content of the advertisement to the content of the requested service or to the use made of our website. To do so, we may analyse your internet browsing habits and show you advertising related to your browsing profile.
e) Social network cookies. Those which allow the user to interact with social network content (Facebook, X —formerly Twitter— and LinkedIn) embedded in the website, for example to share content or visit our profiles. These cookies are managed by those platforms, which may process the information collected in accordance with their own privacy policies. These providers may be located outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States.
Cookies used by this website
This website does not use Google Analytics or any other web analytics tool, nor advertising cookies. Nor does it embed social network content: the links to our Facebook and LinkedIn profiles and the share buttons are plain links that do not install cookies until the user clicks them and leaves this website.
At the time of the last review, this website uses cookies and similar technologies from the following services and providers, classified by purpose:
- Lambda Motive (first-party cookies of the blog and the careers site) — Functional (technical)
- Cloudflare Turnstile — Functional (protection of forms against automated submissions)
- Browser local storage (game on the Lambda Studio page) — Personalisation
The cookies used on the website are detailed below, with their provider, category and retention period (expiry). These data correspond to the last review and may vary if the cookies installed change; in that case this policy will be updated:
| Cookie | Provider | Category | Expiry | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|---|
lambda_blog | Lambda Motive (first-party, lambdamotive.com/blog) | Functional | Session | Keeping the browsing session on the blog and protecting its editing panel, used only by LAMBDA staff. |
lambda_jobs | Lambda Motive (first-party, jobs.lambdamotive.com) | Functional | Session | Holding the security token that protects the application forms against fraudulent submissions and protecting access to the recruitment panel. |
__cf_bm | Cloudflare Turnstile (third-party, challenges.cloudflare.com) | Functional | 30 minutes | Anti-spam protection of the contact and application forms, telling people apart from automated programs. More information in the Cloudflare privacy policy. |
lambda_tow_best (local storage) | Lambda Motive (first-party) | Personalisation | Persistent | Remembering the best score of the game on the Lambda Studio page. It never leaves your browser. |
The website loads the GSAP animation library from the cdnjs service (Cloudflare); that download does not install cookies. Fonts are served from our own servers.
Three.- Legal basis for the use of cookies
The use of cookies may be based on compliance with a legal obligation, the performance of the requested service, legitimate interest and/or the consent of the data subject.
Technical or necessary cookies are those that allow communication between the user's device and the network, or that are strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the user (e.g. shopping cart, security, login), and do not require the user's consent.
By contrast, non-necessary cookies (including analytics cookies, personalisation cookies —unless expressly requested by the user— and behavioural advertising cookies) generally do require the data subject's consent.
Four.- Retention period of the information
We will keep the information for as long as necessary to provide the requested service, until you object or withdraw your consent. In those cases, the information will be duly blocked, without being used, for as long as it is needed for the exercise or defence of legal or contractual claims. Once that period has elapsed, your data will be permanently deleted.
Where we obtain data automatically through cookies, please note that some of them may remain installed for years. However, you can limit their use over time by deleting them from your browsers or devices.
Five.- Enabling, disabling and deleting cookies
This website only uses technical or functional cookies, which do not require consent, so it does not show a cookie pop-up when you enter. If cookies that do require consent (analytics, marketing or social network cookies) are added in the future, we will show you a pop-up before installing them so that you can choose which categories you accept, and this policy will be updated. You can disable cookies through your browser, but please bear in mind that our website may stop working properly (for example, without the session cookie of the careers site you cannot submit applications).
It is important to note that technical or functional cookies do not collect information that identifies you. However, some analytics, marketing and social network cookies may use identifiers that, under current regulations (GDPR), are considered personal data, and are therefore only installed with your consent. This information allows us to adapt and improve our services to users' interests.
You can allow, block or delete the cookies installed on your device by configuring the options of the browser installed on your computer. Each browser works differently; the "Help" function will show you how to do it.

Date of the last update: 23 September 2026.
